Reflections on finding peace, inspiration, and a new perspective on life while living in the serene landscapes of Kent, England.

Discovering a haven of peace and inspiration in the English countryside.
Living in Kent, England, has been an unexpected blessing, offering both proximity to London's opportunities and an escape into nature's embrace. The ease of travel to London, coupled with the support of friends, provides a perfect balance. More importantly, I'm eagerly anticipating my wife's arrival and sharing the beauty of this land with her – the art, culture, museums, and galleries that I know she'll adore. My current home in Kent feels like a dream, a resort-like Airbnb nestled in a valley. The therapeutic power of nature here is undeniable; it's a constant source of inspiration for my work, thoughts, and reflections. It’s like a shower from heaven, with flowers, trees, and greenery all around. I often think, 'What more could I have asked for?' This experience has reinforced my belief that life is about using your unique gifts – whether through vocational skills, insightful writing, or creative projects – to help others. The freedom to live between England and India, pursuing research, writing, and reflection, feels incredibly liberating. Ultimately, life is about remaining young and curious at heart, constantly learning and sharing those discoveries with the world. As the philosopher Seneca wrote, 'Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end,' and this new chapter in England feels like a beautiful beginning indeed.

Learnings

Embracing nature's healing power and the freedom to pursue a life of learning, reflection, and sharing with others are profound lessons I've learned during my time here.
This place has taught me the importance of slowing down and appreciating the small things, like the way sunlight filters through the trees or the sound of birdsong in the morning.
